NAET is an energy balancing technique designed to address any intolerance. Most commonly this is from something being ingested such as food or medication or from something in the environment such as pollen or chemicals.

The treatment involves the patient holding a vial of the allergen whilst the acupressure points along both sides of the spine are stimulated. This is followed by stimulation to certain meridian gate points and an avoidance of contact with the allergen for approximately 25 hours afterwards. There are no needles involved and children and babies can be treated through a surrogate such as a parent.
